In February 2010 I had open heart surgery, two weeks after coming out of hospital I bought my tube and I first launched
it at Ravensthorpe on a windy day in April 2010.
The expression 'a leap of faith' has an equivalence in
float tubing. The first time you launch it's a 'sit of faith', some people love the experience, some find it entirely
unsettling. Luckily, I'm one of the former and the purchase of my tube has opened up a whole new world of possibilities
and experiences.
